Drake Vs. Diddy: Their Fight Was Over A Song & We Know Which One

There was speculation that their fight might have been over music rights or maybe a comment Drake made about Diddy’s girlfriend, Cassie. HollywoodLife.com can tell you that it indeed over music, and the song in particular is Drake’s song “0 to 100″ that he released in July with his label, Young Money Entertainment and Cash Money Records. It turns out a music producer by the name of Boi-1Da, a hip hop producer from Drake’s hometown of Toronto, Canada, gave the song to both Drake and Diddy. We can tell you that “Diddy sat on the song for months”, according to our source, and finally Drake decided to go ahead and record it.
“Boi-1DA gave both of them a song, ‘0 to100,’ Diddy hadn’t done anything with it in months and Drake decided to use it even though they both had it,” our source tells us. “It’s no wonder because it’s one of Drake’s biggest songs so of course [Diddy] is upset.”
We can also tell you that Diddy did punch Drake but only once in his shoulder which exacerbated a prior injury.

“He has a history of having a shoulder issue,” our insider says. “So when Diddy punched him in the shoulder he needed to get it checked out. He was just punched in the shoulder, not the face.”
In case you’re wondering if any legal action will take place like lawsuits and perhaps even an official statement? Our insider tells us: “It has passed …. there will be no public statement and they are not fighting over it anymore, it is what it is.”
