Boko Haram: Help Is On The Way Says Sanusi

The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammad Sanusi II, has expressed optimism that Boko Haram insurgency will soon be a thing of the past.
According to the Emir, help is on the way and terror will be defeated.
Sanusi tweeted that all that is required to conquer Boko Haram is good leaders and uncommon courage, and some have presumed he was referring to the emergence of former military ruler, Major General Muhammadu Buhari, as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming 2015 election.
See his tweets below:
Buhari will challenge President Goodluck Jonathan who is the presidential candidate of the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) for the country’s top position on February 14.
Last month, Sanusi had criticised activities of members of the terrorist group, Boko Haram, advising Nigerians to defend themselves against the sect’s onslaught.
A week after the comments, gunmen with explosives attacked the mosque near the Kano emir’s palaceduring Friday prayers and killed at least 120 people. No fewer than 270 were injured.
Sanusi became emir earlier this year after he was suspended from his post as the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), where he was one of the government’s high-profile critics.
