An elder statesman and Afenifere chieftain, Chief Ayo Adebanjo is one of the living disciples of the late sage, Obafemi Awolowo has revealed why they failed to endorse APC's presidential candidate.
Chief Adebanjo in his interview with Temidayo Akinsuyi, a senior correspondent of Daily Independent said his group (Afenifere Renewal Group) endorsement of President Goodluck Jonathan, is based on true progressivism and other sundry issues.
He said the Afenifere supported President Jonathan for re-election mainly because of the national confab. he report of the national conference which addresses the needs of all entities that makes up the Nigerian state. on the contrary, he does not believe Buhari to implement the national conference report because neither he(Buhari) nor his Party was in the confrence.
